Nigerian Wins $1Billion for Solving 156yrs old Problem in Mathematics

The 156 years old Riemann Hypothesis, the most important problem in Mathematics has been successfully and, if you like, accurately solved by a respected Nigeria Scholar, Dr Opeyemi Enoch.

With this breakthrough, Dr Enoch, who teaches at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has become the fourth egghead to resolve one of the seven Millennium Problems in Mathematics.

The mathematician had, before now, worked on mathematical models and structures for generating electricity from sound, thunder and Oceanic bodies.

An officially statement in Ado Ekiti said Dr Enoch presentation of the Proof on November 11, 2015 during the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science in Vienna, Austria becomes more symbolic coming on the exact day and month 156 years after the problem was delivered by a German Mathematician in 1859.
The Riemann Zeta Hypothesis is one of the seven Millennium problems set forth by the Clay Mathematics Institute with a million Dollar reward for each solved problem for the past 16 years.

According to the statement, “Dr Enoch first investigated and then established the claims of Riemann. He went on to Consider and to correct the misconceptions that were communicated by Mathematicians in the past generations, thus paving way for his solutions and proofs to be established.

“He also showed how other problems of this kind can be formulated and obtained the matrix that Hilbert and Poly predicted will give these undiscovered solutions. He revealed how these solutions are applicable in cryptography, quantum information science and in quantum computers,” it stated.

Three of the problems had been solved and the prizes given to the winners. This makes it the fourth to be solved of all the seven problems.

Dr. Enoch, from Kogi State, had previously designed a Prototype of a silo for peasant farmers and also discovered a scientific technique for detecting and tracking someone on an evil mission.

Enoch has succeeded in inventing methods by which oil pipelines can be protected from vandalism and he is currently working on Mathematical approaches to Climate Change. Kudos!

Sexual Violence: Hundreds of young women strip off to take part in 'SlutWalk' protest against sexual violence

Hundreds of women stripped off to protest rape and violence as part of a SlutWalk event.

The topless participants had slogans written on their bodies and banners as they marched through the streets and blocked traffic in Rio de Janeiro's, Brazil.

The event, which featured powerful messages and colourful displays, was held along Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beachfront in Brazil.

Protesters said one their key aims was to address claims by some that women provoke attacks by the way they dress or act.
They also wanted to fight against proposed new abortion restrictions which, if passed, would mean a woman who was raped could only have a termination if she could prove the crime.

Demonstrators scrawled words onto their breasts, stomachs, backs and arms with lipstick and crayons and there was samba dancing.

Stephanie Ruas, 26, said: "We may face violence anywhere. At school, as a young girl, at work - that's the culture.

"Brazil is one of the worst places for a woman to travel alone. When I travel I bring a special door jam so that my hotel room cannot be opened."

I teach in the university but I never attended one. Obama's Chef reveals

President Barack Obama’s chef, Edwin Scholly, never attended any university for a degree programme. He embraced cooking instead as his first choice. But his career brought him fame and fortune in the past 20 years, such that he became a chef to George Bush, Bill Clinton, Obama and the Queen of England.
Scholly was in Lagos recently for this year’s 13-episode cooking competition, tagged ‘Making of the Chef’, a reality show organised by Rhodium Chef Global and Anchor Digital Media in partnership with Power Oil. He said his dream was to raise a national team for Nigeria that would compete in the Olympic Culinary Art.
Speaking on his qualification, he said: “I never saw the inside of any institute in my life. I never went to any university and today I teach in the university. Skills, discipline, understanding and common sense are vital for success in life. Everybody thinks he is a good chef but what makes the difference is skill and knowledge”.

SHOCK CLAIM: Man in Germany says he's the COUSIN of Adolf Hitler

s Hitler claims to be Adolf Hitler's cousin
In a bizarre claim, Romano Lukas Hitler is claiming to be the only man alive who is directly related to the German responsible for the world's great atrocity.
Romano, 65, has his name on his passport, his German ID card, his bank account and his rental contract for his home in the eastern town of Görlitz.
"Adolf Hitler's father Alois had a younger brother. His grandson was my father", said Mr Hitler to German website, MOPO24.
He claims his parents fled communist East Germany and died in Bratislava in Slovakia.
He also claims he was handed over to a monastery and was then adopted by a Polish family. He later returned to Germany as an adult to train as a ship's helmsman.

The surname has caused him a lot of problems over the years, like getting a job

"But my name has caused me lots of grief down the years," he admits.
With his grandfather reportedly the uncle of Adolf Hitler, the pensioner has a strange taste of art on the walls of his room - a picture of the dictator cousin on one side of the German flag, a picture of Angela Merkel on the other.
He went on: "People are shocked or laugh at me when they hear my name. It was also often the reason why I found no work.
"After me there will be no more Hitlers.  That's it, shame must have an end.  The name is like a cross to bear and  I wish that on nobody.
"The Germans always think Hitler was a bad man. But I'm a very simple person."

However Romano's claim about Hitler's father Alois having a brother doesn't fit the accepted version
However Romano's claim about Hitler's father Alois having a brother doesn't fit the accepted version of history.
In 1837, when she was 42 years old, and still single, Alois' mother Maria Schicklgruber gave birth to him - her  first and only child.
Maria refused to reveal who the child's father was, so the priest baptized him Alois Schicklgruber and entered "illegitimate" in place of the father's name on the baptismal register. historians have discussed two candidates for the father of Alois.
They are Johann Georg Hiedler, whose name was added to Alois's birth certificate later in his life and who was officially accepted as the father of Alois by the Third Reich.
Johann Nepomuk Hiedler, Georg's brother and Alois's step-uncle, who raised Alois through adolescence and later bequeathed him a considerable portion of his life savings.

In lawsuit, lesbian couple alleges they were arrested in Pupukea for kissing

In March, Courtney Wilson and her girlfriend Taylor Guerrero came to the islands from Los Angeles for  vacation.
Instead, the trip turned into a nightmare when they were arrested for kissing in Foodland Pupukea.
In a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday, the couple claim that Honolulu police officer Bobby Harrison harassed and arrested them because he didn't like their public displays of affection.
"We were holding hands and I was kissing her cheek," Guerrero told reporters Wednesday.
That's when they heard Harrison allegedly yell at them from across the store.
"He was like you girls, you girls can't do that in here," Guerrero said.
